This is an old photo of Misty, of when she was first rescued by AARF (Taipei Abandoned Animal Rescue Foundation). Mina Sharpe took real good care of her while she was there, and until she finally came to us on June 16, 1997. She used to live in a puppy mill; where she was bred constantly until she could no longer produce a litter. It was then that she was apparently dumped on the streets and was found by AARF trying to find her way back. She was in very bad shape, she had heartworms, and very badly callussed skin - which has since both been cleared up.
